Uhuru has been ranting about the same, the latest being earlier in the week during his Kisii County tour.

He insisted that corrupt officials should not cling onto their communities when busted and implicated in corruption, vowing that he will not hesitate to deal with whoever is implicated.

But in an interview on Radio Jambo's 'Mazungumzo Waziwazi' Saturday morning, Mutura bashed the head of state, faulting him for handling the matter poorly.

"Uhuru cannot keep complaining to Kenyans and threatening the corrupt officials every day yet he is the one who appointed them. Let him deal with them and stop lamenting," he said.

He also told Uhuru to apologize to Kenyans for appointing officials who have ignored their duty to serve the nation and instead embarked on a looting spree.

"The president should actually apologize to Kenyans for appointing people who are stealing from them," he added.

This comes at a time when four Cabinet Secretaries are said to be at risk of being sent home after their ministries were tainted with graft implications.

They include Henry Rotich (National Treasury), Simon Chelugui (Water), Najib Balala (Tourism) and Mwangi Kiunjuri (Agriculture).
