In his latest offensive on the DP, Ngunjiri now claims that the latter should not expect the Mt Kenya vote in 2022 bid despite an alleged deal between him and Uhuru years back.

He based the argument on the camp's recent attacks on Uhuru, an encounter that saw some Ruto's allies go as far as openly attacking the president over the corruption war issue.

Speaking to the Saturday Standard, the lawmaker revealed that the disrespect the group has shown to the president has scared Mt Kenya away and should expect retaliation in 2022.

“Listen to their sense of entitlement and disrespect in their voice," said the lawmaker, one of a few area leaders who has openly shown their political hate for Ruto from the start.

"The same thing you hear when Ruto, Sudi or Murkomen speak. It is astonishing especially when you imagine these people still expect to get Uhuru and his supporters to rally behind them in 2022!” he said.

However, Uhuru and Ruto are yet to openly disclose their growing enmity in public, doing it crafts each time, apparently to hide the worsening conditions within the bloc.
