Gedi has since been named alongside Belgut MP Nelson Koech as the masterminds of the bribery, in an attempt to influence the MPs into rejecting the Kieni legislator Kanini Kega-led team conclusion.

But in a press conference at the Parliament on Monday, Gedi rubbished the claims, daring her accusers to prove their allegations.

She further hit out at Kimilili lawmaker Didmus Barasa who on Thursday claimed that she approached him with a 10, 000 shillings bribe to join the anti-Kega side.

"I did nothing of the sort and the surveillance cameras in this house can prove that. About the person claiming that I approached him, I don't even known him and vice versa," she said.

She defended the house's move to reject the report, terming it shoddy and poorly done.

Gedi further hit out at both Kega and his supporters who are against the report rejection, saying that the house should be allowed to do its job independently.

"The report no longer belongs to the committee. It is now before the Parliament and it is our job to reject or accept it and it is clear that it is shoddy," she added.

The lawmaker is now demanding an apology from her accusers.
