Rarieda Member of Parliament Otiende Amollo on Saturday turned his attention to South Uyoma ward in his Ondoa Nyasi housing project.
The lawmaker has been running the initiative which seeks to construct new houses for poor widows in the constituency since his election in the 2017 general elections.
On Saturday, he as well offered solar panels equipped with Radios and bulbs to his latest beneficiaries, a move aimed to not only offer new homes, but light and entertainment too.
In a Facebook statement later in the day, he noted that he also equipped his constituents with water filters to clean water for their domestic use and keep off diseases.
"Today I did a modest dwelling for Mama Priscah Ogonda of Ramoya, South Uyoma Ward. This is the 28th Ondoa Nyasi in the series.I also offered a fully paid DGlight solar panel, equipped with bulbs and a radio.
In addition, I gave water filters which will ensure that they use clean water for their domestic use," he said.
New mothers also left a happy lot, as each with a baby aged below three years was handed clothes for their young ones.
" Lastly, I gave out baby clothes to mothers with babies below three years of age," added the lawmaker.
