Trademark East Africa Country Director Ahmed Farah said they will help to develop a growth cluster in agribusiness, fisheries, textile and garment sectors to bring up an export-led industrial and value addition programme for more and better jobs.

 Farah made the revelations on Saturday during an intense engagement with Coastal leaders with the intent of attracting their interests to support the said sectors. 

The meeting was attended by Tana River Governor (Rtd Mj) Dhadho Godhana, Kilifi County Governor Amason Kingi, Jumuiya ya Kaunti za Pwani (JKP) economic bloc CEO Emmanuel Nzai, Taita Taveta Deputy Governor Majala Mlagui and her counterparts, Deputy Governors of Mombasa, Tana River and Lamu counties.

Mlaghui urged the company to consider supporting pasture development by commercializing hay production, commercial irrigation, warehousing, ranching and mining as potential areas where they can bring in some industrialisation assistance.

The leaders also engaged the British High Commission to Kenya to support Jumuiya ya Kaunti za Pwani counties to grow her economy to improve the lives of residents.
