This comes after an audio clip surfaced online in which the lawmaker reportedly exchanged bitter words with Ghetto Radio presenter Edgar Ogutu over a story which was allegedly published on the radio's website.

The MP has, however, termed the allegations as pure propaganda, adding that the audio is aimed at tainting his name.

He also said that the audio was altered to resemble his voice, adding that he is not the one.

“I have no idea of the audio clip you are talking about. And if indeed it is there, then that is a doctored conversation, with a voice altered to resemble how I speak,” he as reported by eDaily.

According to the story, an unidentified number of men stormed into a meeting hosted by Nairobi Woman Representative, Esther Passaris at Tassia and demanded that Owino leaves by force.

From the clip whose source is unknown, the lawmaker is supposedly heard telling the reporter to pull down the story from the website or face dire consequences over the same.

The journalist on the other end tells the lawmaker not to threaten him over the story. The conversation turns ugly to a point the supposed lawmaker hurls insulting words.
