Cherangany MP Joshua Kutuny has told the Deputy President William Ruto to make friends with both Raila and President Uhuru Kenyatta in order to remain in good terms with both.
The legislator slammed Ruto for expressing reservations over 'handshake' which he (Kutuny) opined that it plays a big role in uniting the country, fighting corruption and uplifting the economy.
Kutuny was speaking at a church service in Muranga on Sunday, where Jubilee and ODM leaders of the 'kitaeleweka' team, critical of DP Ruto's ambitions had attended.
The video of Kutuny speaking was shared on Love Child Facebook page.
"Ukipata kiongozi akisema asubuhi salamu zenu nyinyi (Uhuru na Raila) itakuhujumu wewe (Ruto),nataka niseme, kama salamu za Raila na Uhuru itakuhujumu wewe pamoja na wizi wako na isaidie Kenya kukaa pamoja na biashara na uchumi inawiri vizuri then Sisi tutasema haleluya!"
(If you find a leader saying in the morning that your 'handshake' sabotages him, let me say that 'if Raila and Uhuru 'handshake' sabotages you and your thievery nature, then we will say alleluia!" lamented Kutuny in a statement directed to Mr.Ruto.
The vocal legislator further advised the deputy president to humble himself and allow President Uhuru and Raila Odinga to do what they have agreed on after abandoning their differences and shaking hands.
"Sasa ukiona wawili wameungana na unataka kufaulu, lala chini huo upepo wa 'wadosi' upite.Bure ukisimama utakulalisha.("So if you find the two (Raila and Uhuru) have reconciled, lie flat for the wind of wind of your bosses to pass, otherwise, it will sweep you away," warned furious Kutuny.
The former president Uhuru's political advisor further remarked that Mr.Ruto should ensure that he consults and respect both leaders daily in order for him to be a good 'young man' and at peace with his heart.
