ODM party Treasurer Timothy Bosire has given a rare support to President Uhuru Kenyatta in the war against corruption.
Bosire’s support comes after Uhuru on Thursday said his own brother will be jailed if found guilty of importing bad sugar into the country.
According to Bosire who is perceived to be a staunch critic of the Jubilee government, Uhuru is doing a good job in the fight against corruption.
“Uhuru’s decision to tell his own brother, Muhoho, to carry his own cross if found guilty of engaging in dubious dealings is a new dawn in the country.
"I support the Head of State because he is also committed to ensure family members are not tainting his name,” he said.
Bosire said Jubilee and NASA leaders should not politicize the corruption war.
"Jubilee and NASA leaders should participate in the war against dubious dealings in the country. This is not a war to be left for one person but, it is a war for us all,” he added.
The vocal politician rubbished a section of Jubilee pushing for Matiang’i’s resignation saying such politicians must be probed for supporting cartels.
