Kambas should learn to remain united under all circumstances from the Kikuyu community to increase their bargaining power.  Kikuyu have also voted as a bloc and they seem not to change any soon.

The division of the community will make it lose bitterly in the contest for the national cake when that time comes.

Mutua alongside his Makueni counterpart Kivutha Kibwana and Charity Ngilu of Kitui have vowed to work together to liberate the community from poor leadership. The unity of the three leaders is considered a threat to Kalonzo’s rise to power.

The trio needs to change their tune to ensure that they remained united before they lose the battle.

Kalonzo has already hinted that he could pull a surprise in 2022 as political temperatures rise following the push for a referendum continues.

The Kamba political kingpin left tongues wagging when he said that President Uhuru Kenyatta cannot be written off before his retirement. Kalonzo wants Uhuru to remain in power even after he completes his term in office.

He has, however, maintained that he would be on the ballot paper. He is expected to lock horns with Deputy President William Ruto.
