Raila founded and leads the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) which lost the Ugenya parliamentary seat to the Movement for Democracy and Growth (MDG) on Friday.

Speaking on Tuesday, Midiwo blamed Orengo for the same, accusing him of misleading Raila on some important issues related to the by-election, leading to the humiliation.

He said that the same has since eroded their good relationship with Orengo, considering that Jakoyo is a cousin to the former Prime Minister.

"I have a tiff with Orengo and its not historical. Its because I realized that he does not mean well for Raila. I have CE to the realization that Orengo doesn't mean well for my brother," he said.

The former National Assembly Minority Whip was speaking on NTV's AM Live show on Tuesday morning.

Jakoyo is not known to such, and has similarly picked up similar fight with Raila's elder brother and East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) MP Oburu Oginga in the past.

He temporarily vacated the ODM party after the 2017 elections, after he lost the ODM ticket to Elisha Odhiambo who proceeded to win the seat.

In Ugenya, MDG's David Ochieng garnered 18,730 votes, beating ODM's Chris Karan who managed only 14,507 votes.
