Highest paid radio presenters who have rocked the Kenya's media industry pocket millions of shillings monthly with some even earning more that powerful government officials and politicians.
Here is a list of highest paid radio presenters:
1. Jeff Koinange
The host of a breakfast show at Hot 96, a radio station of the lucrative Royal Media services is reported to take home up to 2 million shillings.
Jeff Koinange who is also a talented news anchor at Citizen Television drives a Bentley worth over Sh17 million. He hosts the show alongside Felix Odiwour alias Jalang'o.
He has an expansive in the media having worked with CNN and NBC.
2. Maina Kageni
Coming second is Maina Kageni of Classic 105 who according to reliable sources walks away with Sh. 1.2 million monthly.
This has seen him enjoy a luxurious life which includes expensive cars, an elegant house in the USA and a coveted lifestlye.
3. Daniel Ndambuki
Daniel Ndambuki alias Churchill is not left behind. The co-host of Maina and King'any'i in the morning at Classic 105 pockets up to sh.1million.
Ndambuki is the founder and owner of a multimillion Laugh Industry show. The entertainment show which is named after his nickname is aired on NTV every Thursday and Sunday. He makes millions per show.
4. Shaffie Weru
The 'bad' boy who has worked for Kiss 100 for over five years also makes huge amounts from his mastery of radio skills. His monthly salary ranges from sh. 800,000 to sh.1,000,000. Living a luxurious life and lucrative festivals is not news to him.
5. Mbusii
The co-host of Mbusii na Lion show which runs from 3pm - 7pm at Radio Jambo is also among the top five paid radio presenters.He has been approached by other media stations to decamp but he is yet to be convinced.
The show which is basically a reggea show has youth as majority of the fans.
He reportedly takes home Sh750,000 monthly.
