Beside winning the expensive trophy, Mbappe also won the youngest player award, making him among the best paid young footballers in the world.

Kylian Mbappé was taking home approximately $22,000 per each World Cup game, which amounts to Sh2,209,020. He was also entitled to $348,000 bonus if France wins the World Cup, which they did. The bonus when changed to Kenyan shillings at the current rate totals to Sh34,942,680.00.

The 19 year old boy decided to use the money on different missions including charity works. 

He supported  Preiers de Cordees, an associations which organizes sports events for children living with disabilities in France.

Confirming the move by Mbappé, the Laureus World Sports Awards, on its tweeter handle said the player believed players don't need to be paid to play for their country, which made him to dedicate all his earnings to charity.

Mbappé will be looking forward to partner with Brazil star Neymar at Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) as his promising football career takes off.
