Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi has revealed details of his visit to the Republic of Congo.
The MP accompanied Deputy President William Ruto who is in an official visit to the central Africa nation.
In a post on his official Facebook page, the vocal legislator revealed that he accompanied the DP Ruto to witness the signing of an economic cooperation pact between the two countries, Kenya and Congo, enabling them to collaborate in terms of mining, agriculture, trade and investment.
The economic cooperation pact signed by the two countries will be mainly based on promoting business relations among public entities, private, non-governmental organizations, economic operators and researchers.
DP Ruto's entourage will also take part in advocating for peace and international security in accordance with the purpose and principle of the charter of the United Nations (UN).
The deputy president who began his official tour on Wednesday travelled alongside Mining and Petroleum CS John Munyes, Governors Kahiga Mutahi (Nyeri), Granton Samboja (Taita Taveta) and Trade PS Chris Kiptoo where they were received by Congolese PM Clement Mouamba at Maya-Maya International Airport.
