Senior Counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi has dismissed assertions that he disrespects opposition leader Raila Odinga.
This follows a tweet by city lawyer Donald B Kipkorir on Monday where he asked Ahmednasir to respect Raila.
However, in response, Ahmednasir distanced himself from the accusations noting that he respects the ODM boss since he is a leader.
"I have never abused him..he is a leader," he said in response.
He further labelled Kipkorir as a "sycophant" who peddles and thrives in 'misunderstanding' information to abuse.
"But you are sycophant number UNO and when I petition you to moderate your wild praise you construe that as abuse," he added.
In a rejoinder, Kipkorir said that "Your tweets from 2013 to-date are self-evident. You have mentioned Raila more times than you have mentioned Uhuru, Ruto, Jubilee and Allah combined.."
The two legal minds have been engaging on Twitter over the Role of ODM leader Raila Odinga in government with Ahmednasir stating that it baffles him to see a person he once saw accusing the government of over-borrowing, now praising the same administration.
Raila is set to accompany the President to Beijing, China to negotiate Sh368 billion loan for the completion of the Naivasha-Kisumu SGR Phase II project.
