Speaking Tuesday during a live radio programme, the renowned comedian and high-grossing MC called on those with cases against the family of the former President Moi to seek an out-of-court settlement.

"This is destroying the reputation of the family... I would like to talk to anyone who has a case against the former president. Just go to Kabarak and approach the family and strike a deal before it reaches the former president. There is no need for this back and forth, " Jalang'o said.

According to Jalang'o, former President Daniel Moi should be allowed to enjoy his old age in peace.

His sentiments came in the wake of a court order for the former president to pay 1billion shillings over 53 acres of land said to have been grabbed.

Jalang'o contended that the litany of cases were causes tremendous reputational damage on the Moi family.

President Moi served as President of Kenya for 24 years, a tenure that came to an end with the takeover of the NARC government in 2002.

He lost his son Jonathan Moi to cancer a month ago, a loss that saw scores of leaders visit him in Kabarak.
