Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi has said that the opposition will soon make a come back.
This after the NASA co-principal admitted that the opposition was weakened following the March 9 handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga.
Speaking at the Redeemed Gospel Church in Kisumu, Mudavadi stated that the opposition will come back and play its role as enshrined in the constitution.
"We are working on it. I am personally working on it and you will soon see a very aggressive opposition,” said Mudavadi.
Mudavadi who did not give more details stated that Kenyans deserve a strong and vibrant opposition movement.
"We owe the people a strong opposition and we will ensure this happens,” he added.
The ANC leader, his Wiper Democratic Movement counterpart Kalonzo Musyoka and Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula had opposed to the Raila-Uhuru Kenyatta handshake.
The leaders claimed that they had not been consulted by Raila before meeting Uhuru.
