Deputy President William Ruto has promised 3,000 families from Kisauni that they will receive title deeds within two months.
Kisauni has major land problems with a majority of residents living as squatters.
Speaking on Saturday in Mishomoroni área, Ruto said that the land issue will be a thing of the past.
"We are here with the Lands Principal Secretary Muraguri (Nicholas), we have government officials, 12 vehicles and over 50 officers who will start working from Monday to survey that land in Majaoni,” said Ruto.
He was speaking during a fundraiser for the construction of a national secondary school in honour former Kisauni MP late Karisa Maitha.
“In 60 day, over 3,000 households or families will get their title deeds,” said Ruto.
The DP stated that relevant officers are expected to complete their work within a month and process the documents.
