A family in Ngashura-Kabatini in Bahati is still coming to terms with an incident in which their 4-year-old daughter who went missing in October was found 15 days but dead.
The 4-year-old Linet Wambui is reported to have gone missing on October 20.
The Mother, Grace Wanjiku, painfully recounted how they have been searching for the girl in pain.
“My daughter went missing on Mashujaa Day and we commenced search but all was in vain only to find her body 15 days later,” Wanjiku said.
Irene Kinyanjui, the deceased's teacher at Salama Primary called on police to arrest culprits in the murder.
“Security should be beefed up in this area because this is not the first incident we are experiencing,” said Irene Kinyanjui.
Area MCA Peter Nganga condemned the incident.
“We cannot continue to lose lives in this area. We want security agents to act,” said the Mca.
