Lawyer Miguna Miguna is not a happy man after President Uhuru Kenyatta visited former President Daniel Arap Moi following the demise of his son, Jonathan Moi.
According to Miguna, President Kenyatta, who is completing his second and final term in office, never had a reason to meet Moi even after his son died.
He said that Uhuru has not been on the forefront to visit hunger victims yet he can create time for the son of the retired president.
“When innocent Kenyans are murdered by trigger-happy police, Uhuru Kenyatta congratulates the killers for jobs well done. When Kenyans die of hunger and preventable diseases, Uhuru Kenyatta never attends their funerals. But he attends funerals of murderers like Jonathan Moi,” he said in a tweet on Tuesday.
Over the past few weeks, Miguna has been sharply criticizing President Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto.
He argues that the two leaders have failed this nation and do not deserve to continue ruling the people.
Miguna has also been against the handshake between former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and the president.
According to Miguna, the handshake has not changed anything as far as the state of the nation is concerned.
