Transformation National Alliance Party (TNAP) secretary-general Arnold Maliba has bashed the top political parties in the country over alleged poor performance and inability to bring change.
Speaking on Wednesday, Maliba noted that the reason behind the formation of TNAP is to deliver the country from many years of stagnant politics and worsening political conditions.
He said that most of the leading parties have been unable to serve their rightful purposes, including the ruling Jubilee Party which he argued died immediately after capturing power.
The same, he said, applies to the opposition's Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) and the Amani National Congress, calling upon their supporters to decamp to TNAP.
"Jubilee ilikufa, ni lini ulisikia wameita mkutano mwisho? Chairman wao ni nani? ODM pia wanakutana kamkutano kadogo tu kumwadhibu Jumwa. ANC nayo imekuwa NGO (Jubilee is dead. When was the last time the party leadership called for a meeting? And who is the party chair? ODM only calls small meetings to punish Jumwa. ANC has turned into an NGO)," he said on Radio Citizen's Mjadala Wa Citizen show on Wednesday.
He added that the party is ready to go all out in speaking on behalf of Kenyans and addressing the real issues ailing Kenyans, adding that he will confidently do the job the others fear doing.
Maliba further argued that the party is the only active block that has remained silent on the 2022 presidential race debate, proof of its seriousness towards addressing current issues.
"Sisi pekee ndio hatushabikii na kuongelea nani atakayekuwa rais 2022, sisi yetu ni kazi na pesa (we are the only party which is not interested in who becomes president in 2022. We are focussed on jobs and money)," he added.
