Duale says that Raila's crocodiles narrative could hinder the unity and reconciliation process among Kenyans.

The Garissa MP says that Raila's use of crocodiles in his speech could be interpreted as offensive by some leaders and Kenyans.

"We must walk together in the unity and reconciliation journey and our friends from the other side must stop these crocodiles chronicle's", he said as quoted by local daily on Saturday.

Duale said that elected leaders across the political divide must focus on unity.

He said that Kenyans are confident of a better future after the famous March 9 handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila.

On Friday, during the burial of Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka's father Peter Mairu in Tseikuru, Duale openly told off Raila over the crocodiles narrative.

However, Raila's ally James Orengo who is also Siaya senator defended the former Prime Minister.

Orengo said that Raila is not abusing anyone by using crocodile narrative in his speech and talk.

He asked Duale not to be insensitive.

Raila has been using the crocodile tag to explain his perceived journey to Canaan.

The former Prime Minister says that he was 'captured' by crocodiles at River Jordan on his way to Canaan.
