Bonchari MP John Oyioka said should the two leaders should meet and iron out their political differences noting that their prolonged war of words will come to end.

"I wish to urge Raila and DP Ruto to drop their political differences and agree to embrace tolerance, peace as this will boost graft war, end tiff," he said.

The PDP Party allied MP regretted that the continuing war of words between the two leaders will hinder President Uhuru Kenyatta's efforts to fight graft.

He proposed that Raila and Ruto should join hands and forget about the past for the sake of actualizing the historic handshake.

"Uhuru's boat is sinking because Raila and Ruto are drilling holes to allow water into the boat instead of stepping up efforts to help Uhuru's boat not to sink in the graft war," he added.

Oyioka termed corruption a development enemy reiterating that elected Gusii leaders should be part of the war on corruption.

He was speaking on Friday at the constituency CDF offices in Suneka.
