Former Molo MP Njenga Mungai and Musa Sirma, who served in Eldama Ravine, guided the delegates to Kang'o ka Jaramogi before spending the day at Raila's Opoda Farm.

In a press conference, Mr Mungai lauded Raila's patriotism, adding that Rift Valley leaders are ready to support his initiatives for the sake of bringing unity and development in the country.

"In 2002, you stood with us and backed President Mwai Kibaki. In 2007, you accepted dialogue when the country plunged into chaos. Your patriotism has yet again been proved after you backed Uhuru Kenyatta. We will stand with you," he said.

At Migori on Friday, Raila promised massive changes in the country, adding that he's keen to ensure 2017 issues are addressed by the government before 2022 polls. He was referring to impending constitutional changes.

“You cannot resist change. If you try to, it will overwhelm you. An idea whose time has come cannot be stopped," he said at Nyatike grounds.

“2022 is going to come and Kenyans are going to deal with it. We are dealing with Kenya now and we are determined to heal the 2017 political and electoral wounds," Mr Odinga added.

At Opoda Farm, the leaders mainly from Nakuru and Naivasha were joined by Rarieda MP Otiende Amollo and Siaya Senator James Orengo. The two are key advisors of Mr Odinga.

"A fine Day, fishing in Rusinga, joined Sen Orengo & other Collegues in fundraising at Wakula Sec in Mfangano, now at Opoda with Rt Hon Odinga as he receives a big delegation from Nakuru & Naivasha led by Hon Njenga Mungai & Musa Sirma.Lets Support All Efforts At forging Unity," Otiende said.
