Former Soy parliamentary hopeful Jonathan Bii has ditched KANU and joined Jubilee Party. He says that despite being loyal to the party, (KANU) it has taken him nowhere."If supporting KANU is the one that has made me suffer politically, let me return it to the rightful owners and follow what the people of this region want me to be, " said Bii in Kamukunji PCEA church on Sunday. He reiterated that he will support Deputy President William Ruto presidential bid come 2022.He further said that democracy in the region does not work but only the political wave in the region and that he has decided to follow the wave. "I have tried democracy in looking for a political seat and failed three times and have decided to leave democracy and follow the majority for me to reach where I want to go. It is better I get something instead of being left in the streets," he added.Bii contested for the Soy parliamentary seat in the August 2017 polls but lost to Jubilee's Caleb Kositany.Bii called on residents from the region regardless of their tribes to support William Ruto presidential bid come 2022.#hivisasaoriginal
