However, the country was also on many of athletics’ fans across the world, because of its beautiful national anthem. 

It first played when Kenyan won the first gold medal, with Eliud Kipchoge taking on the podium to pick his medal, and a further five times as Kenya picked six gold medals.

Fans across the world then noted that the anthem was a perfect piece of music, which could even be used in movies.
