Parents have been warned against funding their children in purchase of fake examination papers.
Nyamira County Commissioner Isaiah Nakoru said security team will be on high alert to respond to any exam irregularity.
"Parents should encourage their children to face exams without cheating. Any parent, guardian caught giving his or her child money to buy fake exam papers will be apprehended," he said.
The county boss assured that during the exam period no police officer will be around to go on leave.
"Officers who were on leave have been recalled back to beef up security for the smooth running of the exams. Any unusual behavior related to exam cheating must be reported to authorities," he noted.
Nakoru said it is time learners should prove to the ministry of Education officials that the cheating allegations are false by doing the exams independently without any malpractice.
He said unnecessary noises near exam rooms will not be allowed.
