Already, two teams have emerged from both political divides, each expressing divergent opinions on the report which could propose constitutional changes.

President Uhuru Kenyatta on Friday confirmed that he will be receiving the report on Tuesday at State House along with ODM leader Raila Odinga.

But Ahmednasir says that there are four groups with regard to the BBI, painting a picture of looming competition between Raila and DP William Ruto.

"We have 4 groups when it comes to BBI. GROUP 1 have SWALLOWED it because BABA has read for them. GROUP 2 have REJECTED it because RUTO has read for them. GROUP 3 will read it once it is released and make their minds. GROUP 4 will NEVER read it. WHICH GROUP DO YOU BELONG TO? he wrote on Twitter.

DP Ruto has warned that Kenyans will not be forced to support the document, accusing Mr Odinga of using it as a political tool for his 2022 political scheming.

But on Friday, Uhuru took a swipe at politicians opposed to the document, arguing that they should first read and understand it before giving an opinion.

“There are some characters who poke holes into the report yet they are not privy to what is contained inside,” he said as quoted by Standard.

"Only a fool will say that there are no issues in this country that require addressing," Uhuru added, arguing that changes are inevitable.
