Wachira, the owner of Biscept Limited Company, was reportedly attacked by the gang at his office in Industrial Area within Nakuru West Sub County on Friday midnight.

According to Nakuru Town West police boss Patrick Olonyi the gang of hooded robbers assaulted him with crude weapons before he succumbed to the injuries.

He said that the suspected criminals accessed his business premises after jumping over the perimeter wall and into the compound.

"Hooded criminals armed with crude weapons got into the compound by jumping through the perimeter wall," he is quoted by the Standard.

He added that the purpose of the attack is yet to be established. The police, however, have information that the deceased had been returning from Kisumu where he had gone to supply products.

Olonyi said that the thugs also ransacked his house and stole his mobile phones, with attempts by his workers to rush him to hospital proving futile as he was declared dead on arrival.
