Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi has promised to sponsor both primary and secondary school candidates who will perform well in the national examinations this year.
Through his official Facebook page, Sudi said candidates who will score 400 marks and above in the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) exams and straight A in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) will get full sponsorship.
"I want to commit myself here that any Form Four Student from Kapseret Constituency who will manage to score an A(plain) will benefit on full sponsorship in University studies from my personal kitty," reads part of the MPs Facebook post.
"Equally, any Class 8 candidate from Kapseret Constituency who scores more than 400 marks will be privileged to enjoy full sponsorship entirely in secondary studies," added the post.
The two-time legislator further noted that in addition to full sponsorship he will cater for shopping and other entry expenses needed.
Sudi also wished all the candidates in his constituency success saying, "these exams are your opportunity at proving your worth to everyone around you. Grab it and do your best, don’t let it pass through."
Already practical for KCSE are ongoing while the KCPE exams begin today (Tuesday).
