Kemosi speaking at Itibo in North Mugirango constituency in Nyamira County on Friday where he attended the burial of Boaz Masongo brother to Kennedy Masongo, the Bungoma county assembly secretary where Wetangula was present reiterated that Gusii leaders will work with him.

"I want to assure you that we will work hand in hand with you to improve the leadership of this country. I urge you to hold talks with serious presidential candidates ahead of the 2022 polls," said the Ford Kenya Party elected MP.

The legislator who is serving his first term in office reiterated the need for Gusii leaders to focus on development adding that continued politicking will hinder development.

"I urge Gusii leaders to prioritize development to improve the lives of our people and eradicate poverty," he maintained.

Present at the burial function were former North Mugirango MP Joseph Kiangoi and the current MP Joash Nyamoko.

This comes after the MP was accused of dumping opposition for Deputy President William Ruto's tanga tanga movement given that the legislator has been attending DP Ruto's political functions in Gusii land.
