One of the Cuban doctors based at the Wajir Referral Hospital has been robbed.
According to the doctor, his clothes went missing on Monday and the individuals behind the incident are still unknown.
A report by police indicates that the doctor lost four long-sleeved shirts, four short-sleeved shirts, and two vests.
He discovered the missing clothes after waking up ready to go to work.
The medic who reported the matter at the Wajir Police Station said that somebody might have accessed the house while he was away.
It was not immediately clear how the thief gained access into the house as there are armed security guards attached to the doctors.
By press time, detectives had already launched a probe into the matter.
The incident comes four weeks after the Cuban doctors were deployed in all the 47 counties in the country.
