Firebrand lawyer Miguna Miguna has sent a message to President Uhuru Kenyatta ahead of his visit to Kingston, Jamaica next week.
The Head of State has been invited by Jamaican Prime Minister The Most Honourable Andrew Holnes so they can have bilateral talks between Nairobi and Kingston.
Uhuru, who is expected to lead a powerful delegation of senior government officials and prominent business people, will be the chief guest at Jamaica’s 57th independence anniversary.
During the tour, Holnes is scheduled to take his visitor to the shrine of Jamaican-born pan Africanist Marcus Mosiah Garvey and the museum of iconic reggae artist Robert Nesta Marley, popularly known as Bob Marley.
Uhuru is a fan of reggae and in a past interview, he disclosed Marley, alongside UB-40, were some of his favourite musicians.
Referring to him as 'despot', Miguna has accused Uhuru of committing so many crimes which Garvey and Marley lived to oppose.
In a tweet on Tuesday, the outspoken lawyer asked the President to focus on sampling marijuana (ganja) during his visit, and not to soil the tombstones of the two Jamaican legends.
"You have burnt Kenya to the ground; massacred the constitution, the rule of law, democracy and freedom fighters; and institutionalized tyranny and looting. Don't desecrate Marcus Garvey's and Bob Marley's tombstones. Focus on sampling Ganja, Mr Despot," Miguna posted.
