Political analyst Joseph Simekha has warned the incoming 12th parliament against harassing government officials based on their Luo background.

Speaking in an interview on NTV Sunday,Simekha said that this will cost the nation contrary to the perpetrators thinking that they are doing themselves and the nation a favor.

''The Luonization of issues which is now coming in an even bigger way will not do anyone any good.Actualy,it will lead to more division and ethnic balkanization,'' said Simekha.

This was after National Assembly majority leader Aden Duale on Sunday said that he looks foward to having an easier task in his bid to oust Auditor General Edward Ouko.

The Garissa town MP-elect who was speaking in a press briefing Sunday bragged about the ruling Jubilee Party's even bigger tyranny of numbers saying that he has the numbers in both houses and  will ensure that Ouko gets the first dose of the same immediately the parliament begins its sittings with another panelist,Scheaffer Okore condemning Duale saying that the Auditor General has not broken any law and ousting him will be merely for personal or ethnic differences.

''This shows that Duale's team just wants Ouko out not because he has not broken but because of pointing out  misappropriation of funds within the government,'' said Okore.

The debate to have Ouko fired started during the 11th parliament with Duale also vowing to spearhead the grilling of High Court Judge George Odunga, also from the Luo community.
