Michael Oyamo who was the personal assistant of Migori County Governor Okoth Obado and the Migori County clerk Caspal Obiero now want the judge to distance herself from the case over claims of drawing conclusions too early and creating a predetermined impression about them concerning the case.

Speaking on Wednesday, the duo complained that judge Lessit allowed Governor Obado a bail of Sh5 million but denied them the bail because she already created an impression of being implicated in the murder, therefore, denied them the bail on grounds that she thought that they could distort the case if released.

"The judge had made conclusions and had evidence that if the two were released they would interfere with the case," the two suspects complained.

The two were later released on February on bail of Sh1 million each after successfully appealing for their detention after being denied the bail in November 2018 when Obado was released on bail of Sh5 million and two sureties of the same amount.
