Chesang' who is a member of LSK was a resident of Moke Gardens, Athi river in Machakos county.

The gunmen in the incident managed to escape.

In their statement, LSK asked the IG Joseph Boinnet to speed up investigations so that justice can be established and his killers are known.

In the letter, LSK regrets that several lawyers have been killed in cold blood and the journey to find truth and justice has always been in vain or taken way too long.

"As a society, we condemn this atrocious act in the strongest terms possible. This incident reminds us of colleagues who have lost their lives in the hands of unknown assailants and are yet to get justice."

Robert Chesang' is said to have been tortured in his bedroom before being forcefully ejected to the living room where he was shot 7 times in cold blood.
