Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika has called on former Prime Minister Raila Odinga to record a statement with the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) over the fake gold scandal that has gripped the country.
She also called on the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader to come clean on what he went to do in Dubai when he boarded a flight from Kisumu to Dubai.
"We have seen some people who are pretending to be angels. Every time they talk they want to say everybody else is corrupt and they are the angels.
"We need to see that man who is now going around in funerals and rallies talking about how he is a whistleblower. He needs to go record a statement at the DCI. We need to be told, with his gang of conmen when they boarded a flight from Kisumu to Dubai, what they went to do there," Senator Kihika fired.
Kihika said, by recording a statement with the DCI, Raila would prove that he was not playing politics with the fake gold saga.
The former Nakuru County Assembly speaker spoke during a church service in Naivasha that was graced by Deputy President Dr William Ruto.
During a funeral in Kakamega, Raila maintained that he was the one who blew the whistle on the saga.
