Terrorism has become a danger not only to Kenya but the world at large. Most terror attacks in Kenya have been linked to Somali group Al-Shabaab.
Since most of the people who executed the attack are of Somali origin and of the Muslim religion, the innocent "Muslim-Somali's" have had to deal with stigmatization and discrimination a lot.
A father was at the scene of the Dusit2D attack received news of bodies of his two sons that were killed during the attack.
"I stayed here till late at night around 2 am, I woke up today to receive the bodies of my dead sons, it's really sad," he said.
He said he is a Muslim by religion and borne in North Eastern Kenya.
He stated that there are no Muslim teachings that encourage people to kill others and condemned the act.
He added that terrorist did to choose age, gender, religion or origin, they only had one mission and that is to kill as many as they can.
He also said as Somalis they are always viewed as suspects when clearly they are also victims just like any other Kenyans so he encouraged Kenyans to fight terrorism in unity.
"I want to tell Kenyans, I have lost my children(yet am a Somali and) and I am not a terrorist, they hate us all as Kenyans, " he said.
He further blamed the western media for painting a picture that when one here of terrorism, they think of Muslim which is not true. He lamented they are victims at the same time suspects.
