According to our sources within parliament, the MPs confronted Keter over his recent remarks which were interpreted to have targeted the DP.

Keter said that he will move around the country warning people not to elect someone because he will steal from Kenyans. He said if Kenyans do not heed his advice and elect the person, then they should not condemn all Kalenjins when things go wrong.

In parliament, sources said Soy MP Caleb Kositany confronted the Nandi Hills MP over the remarks leading to a scuffle, other MPs intervened and cooled down things.

Minutes later, there was a heated exchange again between Aldai MP Cornelius Serem and Keter before they traded several punches.

A top political reporter attached to parliament also confirmed the incident.

“I also heard about it but didn’t witness,” he said.
