Agriculture minister Peris Mong'are was first to be put on spot when she struggled to explain implementation of various projects in 2018/19, a move which angered MCAs.

"Mr Speaker Sir, what she is reading is just imaginary. There is nothing tangible she has implemented. I challenge you to allow her go and come with proper report. Otherwise we can't sit and listen to this," said George Mosiori, nominated MCA.

Speaker Moffat Teya forced Ms Mong'are to leave the Chambers and instructed her to prepare well before appearing next for grilling by MCAs.

A similar fate befell environment boss Samuel Maiko who struggled to explain achievement of his docket with only three months to end of 2018/19.

To the surprise of MCAs, Maiko tabled a report for 2017/18, further causing chaos in the assembly. Ekerenyo MCA Thaddius Nyabaro protested the report, adding that the minister was confused.

"He is reading what is not in the current financial year. Clearly, he's very clueless on these serious issues. There is no need to continue listening to lies. Let him leave the chambers," he said.

On Wednesday, several other ministers will appear before MCAs for grilling with health boss Douglas Bosire stepping first from 11am.
