Former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo has hit out at a section of politicians over what he termed as unbecoming habits with their corrupt nature.
Kabogo retweeted Citizen TV's tweet which had warned people against bribing preachers to get God’s favour in return.
“Apostle Richard Takim: Do not give money to a preacher for you to be healed or get rich. We give tithe and offering to finance the work of God and not to convince God to help us. You can never pay God to heal or make you prosperous rather pray to God to help you #GospelSunday,” read Citizen TV's tweet
The former Kiambu County boss in his response bluntly told politicians not to steal money from Kenyan citizens and later rush to church for cleansing.
"Politicians; this is what I tweeted last week. Don’t steal from Wanjiku and run to church hoping to be cleansed," tweeted Kabogo.
Last week on Wednesday during an interview with Citizen TV's JKL show, Kabogo declared his ambitions for the top seat in 2022.
He was also among politicians who opposed the Finance Bill 2018 citing that it was to benefit politicians while ordinary Kenyans continue suffering.
