Popular radio presenter and former TV presenter Kamene Goro has for the first time officially spoken about her role as a video vixen in Ethic’s new song which was released on Friday.
The former NRG radio presenter’s role in the video has been received with mixed reactions with some of the social media users criticizing her negatively.
Kamene during an interview on NTV’s The Trend, however, defended her involvement in the video citing that people should concentrate more on the contribution of Ethic to the new music in Kenya instead of her.
“When we lose the focus which is what these young guys are doing; it is not about what Kamene was doing, even Kamene was on the video. It’s what Ethic is doing and how important it is to the movement of new music in Kenya,” she stated.
The radio presenter who recently resigned from NRG radio claimed that people were focusing more on her personality instead of listening to the song.
“What Ethic is propagating, the kind of music they are pushing, and then it is worse that it was me Kamene who is resident evil of whatever this fourth estate you call it. Just propagating that even worse narrative,” Kamene noted.
According to her, she supported Ethic because of their unique style and contribution to modern music.
