This is after Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi on Thursday postponed the judgment, noting that the ruling was not ready.

Magistrate Andayi said he will deliver his ruling on June 18, 2019.

The suspects, Mohamed Abikar, Hassan Edin Hassan, Sahal Diriy and Tanzanian Rashid Charles Mberesero are facing terror-related charges.

The four are accused of aiding Al-Shabaab militants in their attack at the institution that left 148 people dead and several others injured.

Magistrate Andayi early this year acquitted Osman Abdi Dagane, a watchman at the institution, on grounds that there was no evidence linking him to the attack.

The four suspects are also accused of being members of a terrorist group.

Mberesero, a Tanzanian, is reported to have been found hiding under a bed at a dormitory in the university and could not explain what he was doing at the facility during the attack.

He was also charged with being in the country unlawfully.
