The details of the handshake remain a mystery to others apart from President Uhuru and  Raila.

The country, in general, accepted to give the handshake a chance and one can say it has had its positive side.

However,  it had its negative side too,  especially from DP Ruto camp who feel it's a scheme to lock their candidate out of 2022 politics.

For a very long time since the handshake, former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and Deputy President William Ruto have not openly exchanged words all being in the mood of the handshake.

Many had been speculating a fall out between the two and it was not until Friday when the two exchanged words publicly.

Raila during the ODM meeting linked Ruto will the controversial Elgeyo Markwet dam scandal after Ruto come out claiming the money lost was overestimated.

Ruto then responded when he visited Garissa on Friday claiming Raila plans all along has been to cause havoc in Jubilee something he said Raila won't achieve.

Senior counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi took on Twitter to tell President Uhuru to now take a side, given that Raila and Ruto 'much awaited' clash has finally happened and he can no longer be neutral.

"The much-anticipated fight/clash between Deputy President William Ruto and Hon Raila finally happened today...and H.E UHURU can no longer afford to be neutral...He must show his love and either divorce Ruto (separation not enough) or officially wed Raila...(figuratively speaking)," reads a Twitter statement by Senior counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi.
