Celebrated life coach Robert Burale has revealed why most Kenyans make a number of sound resolutions at the beginning of each and every year, but end up not binding by them.
Speaking on Citizen TV Day's Day Break show, Burale said most people only make emotional and exciting statements in the name of New Year resolutions but later fades away as the year goes by.
"There are - somewhat - we all romantic statements that people make year in, year out, every new year they make some powerful statements," he said.
He added that for one to achieve each and every goal he or she sets out on achieving, one needs to make a powerful move on the set down resolutions so that you take them beyond 'oral phrase', just setting up them.
He said besides changing your mindset, you also need to "crowd shift" which involves changing your circle of friends so that you are not around people with no impact on your life.
"You cannot be hanging around people doing the same thing and you expect different results , so before anything, before any movement, there must be a mind change," he added
Burale concluded that a resolution you made at the start of the year can still be achieved before this year ends, that is, if you choose to focus on it once again and finish strongly.
