Speaking on Sunday to members of the press after attending a church service, the embattled county boss said that there was no confusion.

He claimed that there was an attempt by some people to paint a portrait of confusion of Kiambu following the perceived supremacy battles between him and his deputy Dr James Nyoro.

"There are people who want to show that there is confusion in Kiambu. The other day I spoke with the deputy governor and he has no confusion Watu wanataka kuonyeshana kama Kiambu kuna confusion. Juzi mimi nimeongea na deputy governor na yeye pia hana confusion), " he said.

Governor Waititu said that operations in the Kiambu County administration were being informed by the law and not by what individuals want for themselves.

The Kiambu County government appear to be in a state of disarray following very public disagreements between the governor and his deputy.

Media reports had indicated that county ministers were in a state of confusion over whose decisions to respect between Waititu and Dr James Nyoro.

Asked whether he would call a meeting with his ministers, Governor Waititu said that he would do so only when there was an agenda to be discussed and sufficient notice given for the meeting.
