Smelly feet can be caused by putting on closed shoes for so long and your legs can sweat and cause them to smell. It can also be caused by a fungal infection. However, there are some home remedies that can help to do away with smelly feet.
Tea leaves
Boil two spoonfuls of tea leaves and leave the solution to cool down a bit. Soak your legs while the solution is still warm and let them stay for ten minutes before drying them.
Alcohol
Apply some alcohol on your feet and leave it for ten minutes. Wash your legs with soapy water to eliminate the pungent smell of alcohol. You can also sprinkle some alcohol in your shoes to kill the smell.
Baking soda
Add a good amount of baking soda to water and soak your legs in it. Leave them there for ten minutes then dry them. Do this daily for a week and the result will amaze you.
Apple cider vinegar
Add ½ cup of apple cider vinegar to 1 cup of warm water. Soak your legs in the solution for fifteen minutes. Wash your feet with clean water and soap to avoid the strong smell of apple cider vinegar.
Onions
Onions have a disgusting smell but they can actually be helpful if you have smelling feet. Cut some onions into small pieces and put them in your socks and leave them overnight. The onions will kill any feet infection.
