Embakasi East MP Paul Ongili alias Babu Owino has raised a concern with the handshake saying he smells fishy underneath things.
He said that he is smelling a rat stating that the byproduct of the handshake should be the constitutional changes in the country.
In a Facebook post, Owino said that if President Uhuru cannot deliver his promise of the real meaning of the handshake, then Raila Odinga should divorce him.
"I’m smelling a rat. The by-product of this Handshake must be a referendum to amend the constitution, or we divorce if the marriage can’t manufacture a baby," read his facebook post.
He further noted that everything that was entailed in the handshake must be put forth and vivid to all to know before the end of this year.
"Everything MUST be clear by the end of this year. Ujinga hatutakubali na ufala ya peni mbili." he added
His remarks come as President Uhuru and ODM leader Raila Odinga failed to secure a loan deal which would have witnessed the extension of the SGR from Naivasha to Kisumu.
Ever since the 9th March Handshake, it has received some opposition with Ruto allied politicians saying it was construed to frustrate the DP as he was not part of the handshake despite him being the Deputy President.
