A village in Turi, Molo is in a sombre mood after a university student from the area was brutally murdered by a gang in Mombasa.

Duncan Ondari Nyakenanda who hails from Mwangaza in Turi, Molo constituency, was a BSc Nursing student at Pwani University.

He was attacked and killed by a knife-wielding gang on Monday September 3.

Sources said Ondari was killed while on his way to Coast general hospital for placement.
