ODM leader Raila Odinga has continued with his series of scathing attacks against DP William Ruto and his allies, accusing them of dragging him to local politics.
On Saturday, Odinga dismissed Ruto's claims that he's keen to dismantle Jubilee, adding that 'he's not a member of Jubilee and does not attend cabinet meetings.
"Raila has never been in Jubilee .He is an ODM member. He does not attend meetings in Jubilee so that he can bring divisions there. He does not attend cabinet meetings so that he can bring divisions too . He is doing his things the way he has been doing them before. If there is anything else he is interfering with then it is in the public interest."
Raila also added that the only place he can cause confusions if any, should be AU where he works as special envoy. He said that he's not interested in local politics.
“Sio hapa. Sahii mimi nacheza Super League, hii ujinga ya nyumbani nimewachia nyinyi,” he said.It loosely translates to: "Not here (at home), I currently play in the Super League. This nonsense at home I have left it to you."
“Wacha mimi nicheze huko juu na Ronaldo na Messi na hao wengine.” [Let me play at top league with the likes of Ronaldo, Messi and the others].
For the past few weeks, Mr Odinga and Ruto have been at loggerheads with the Sh21 billion scandal escalating their rift.
According to DCI George Kinoti and DPP Noordin Haji, Treasury had released Sh21 billion for construction of Kimwarer and Arror dams but nothing is yet to be done.
