Former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale has hailed Deputy President William Ruto as a hard working man.
The former Ford Kenya Deputy Party leader said that he was impressed by the fact that Ruto met more than 6000 leaders at his home and headed to hold fundraisers in different schools in one weekend.
“Ooh, this man @WilliamsRuto! From a luncheon with 6000 Kakamega leaders in my home, Sh 2.0m for Malinya Pr Sch, tarmacking Turbo/Soyi Rd to harambees in Kitale (Endebes, Saboti) & in Bungoma at Bumula. All in one weekend! Brother, we are feeling u & we thank u! Urioo munoo!” he tweeted on Monday.
Ruto who is considered as one of the front runners in the race for the presidency in 2022, Khalwale maintained, deserves credit because of his commitment and dedication to transform Kenya.
He further said that Ruto has proven beyond doubt that he is the right man to lead this nation, adding that his dreams are valid.
Khalwale defected to Jubilee from Ford Kenya.
His defection has stirred political waters in the Western region. Trans Nzoia Governor Patrick Khaemba also pledged to support DP Ruto in 2022.
